White House counselor Kellyanne Conway said Friday that Sen. Cory Booker’s (D-N.J.) newly announced presidential campaign would be considered “sexist” if he were a Republican.
“What’s wrong with the candidates that are already in there? What’s your objection to Kamala Harris running, Elizabeth Warren, Kirsten Gillibrand, these others who have already announced, Tulsi Gabbard maybe?” Conway, a former GOP pollster, asked Friday morning on “Fox & Friends.”
The article goes on to state the following:
“If he were a Republican running against them, they would immediately call him a sexist for running against these women in the Democratic field.”
Conway also asked, what has Booker accomplished that makes him think he’s qualified to be president?
In another interview, Conway quipped that Booker “often sounds like a Hallmark card.” She added that the crowded Democrat field of those aspiring for the Oval Office will be attacking each other, so “we’ll be sitting back with bowls of popcorn watching that.”
