Far-right activists Laura Loomer and Ben Bergquam were arrested in California on Wednesday for trespassing after handcuffing themselves to the governor’s mansion in protest.

Loomer and Bergquam were reportedly protesting California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s (D) stance on immigration, according to the Sacramento Bee.

The two livestreamed the protest, in which they handcuffed themselves to the governor’s mansion while wearing ponchos and sombreros, and subsequent arrest.

The two reportedly scaled the fence of the mansion and had what they called a “fiesta” on the lawn. The two were cited and released hours later.
