TRUMP TWEETS: ‘I inherited a total mess…’

President Trump spoke out Friday morning on the war in Syria and Afghanistan, in obvious response to those who have pushed back against his plan to withdraw troops from those areas.

The president tweeted:

I inherited a total mess in Syria and Afghanistan, the “Endless Wars” of unlimited spending and death. During my campaign I said, very strongly, that these wars must finally end. We spend $50 Billion a year in Afghanistan and have hit them so hard that we are now talking peace after 18 long years.

Syria was loaded with ISIS until I came along. We will soon have destroyed 100% of the Caliphate, but will be watching them closely. It is now time to start coming home and, after many years, spending our money wisely. Certain people must get smart!

President Trump also responded to the new jobs report just released Friday morning by the Labor Department, which revealed that 304,000 nonfarm jobs were added during the month of January.

The report shattered all expectations, and especially since it was during the partial government shutdown.

The president tweeted: Best January for the DOW in over 30 years. We have, by far, the strongest economy in the world!
