TRUMP TWEET: Issues statement on shooting attack at Florida naval base

President Trump issued a statement on Twitter Friday afternoon, regarding the mass shooting that occurred at a naval base in Pensacola, Florida.

Four people, including the gunman, are now dead, and at least seven others are hospitalized as a result of the shooting.  The gunman has been identified as a Saudi national who was in the United States for flight training.

Investigators are still “trying to determine whether the shooting was terror-related or not,” officials stated.

President Trump posted the following statement on Twitter:  “Just received a full briefing on the tragic shooting at NAS Pensacola in Florida, and spoke to @GovRonDeSantis. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families during this difficult time. We are continuing to monitor the situation as the investigation is ongoing.”

DMLNewsApp founder Dennis Michael Lynch responded to President Trump’s tweet, writing, “Shut the door on Saudi Arabia, wtf are we doing training terrorists how to fly planes!!!”
