Approval of President Trump’s handling of the economy has risen 7 points since the start of the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry, according to a poll released Wednesday, as the president seeks to make economic gains a cornerstone of his reelection bid.

Forty-nine percent of Americans said they approve of the president’s handling of the economy in the new CNBC poll, up from 42 percent in September. Another 40 percent say they disapprove, a drop from 50 percent a few months ago.

The article goes on to state the following:

The latest results mark a reversal from a sharp drop in September, which coincided with the House’s decision to launch an impeachment investigation into Trump over his dealings with Ukraine. Wednesday’s poll numbers more closely align with the average approval ratings for the president’s handling of the economy.

DMLNewsApp founder Dennis Michael Lynch weighed in recently on the Democrats’ plan to impeach President Trump, and said this will only make the president stronger and benefit him going into the 2020 election.

“Dems impeaching Trump in the House will be a good thing for Trump – now Republicans must take it to trial in the Senate… and use it to put Obama and Biden on trial! Expose the corruption and the lies! This is the greatest thing that could happen to Trump for 2020,” Lynch said.

“Dems have been painting themselves into a corner for the longest time, and now that paint is going to dry!” he added.
