KENDRICK Lamar booted a white woman off the stage in front of thousands after she rapped the N-word in his own lyrics.

The woman, named only as Delaney, was called on stage by the rapper and offered the chance to rap beside him at the Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

But when she failed to miss out the N-word from the Pulitzer prize winner’s 2012 hit M.A.A.D. City she was scolded by Lamar and ultimately booed off stage.

Some on social media have claimed the incident was set up by the rapper in a bid to get attention.

The white fan sang the N-word three times as she rapped along to the song’s chorus.

She sang: “Man down/Where you from, n****?’/’F**k who you know, where you from, my n****?’/’Where your grandma stay, huh, my n****.”

The rapper then cut the music saying: “Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, no, no, wait.”

Baffled Delaney didn’t understand what the issue was replying: “Am I not cool enough for you? What’s up, bro.”

Realising the issue Delaney quickly apologised, explaining the slip up came from her being in the moment.

She said: “Oh, I’m sorry. Did I do it? I’m so sorry … I’m used to singing it like you wrote it.”

She said: “Oh, I’m sorry. Did I do it? I’m so sorry … I’m used to singing it like you wrote it.”

She asked to stay on stage and Lamar allowed her to remain under the proviso that she leave out the offensive word.

But when a flustered Delaney lost the rhythm on her second attempt, the rapper hoofed her off stage and continued his show.

The event has split social media with people suggesting it was a publicity stunt on the part of Lamar.
