Comedian Samantha Bee infamously called Ivanka Trump a “feckless cunt” in a 2018 episode for her TBS talk show. But the pair appears to have found common ground this week with Bee praising the White House advisor’s effort to get federal paid family leave legislation into law.
Well-known CNN personality Jim Acosta tried to intercept Ivanka Trump this week, but was expertly boxed out as her security detail left the reporter in the dust. The network’s chief White House correspondent confronted the first daughter Tuesday in Davos, Switzerland. Ivanka Trump and her father, President Donald Trump, were in the European nation for…

American voters must choose between two sharply divergent visions for the future. Option A is freedom and prosperity, as embodied by the historically successful incumbent president, Donald J. Trump. Option B is the apocalyptic nightmare that would descend upon the American heartland in the unlikely event that any of the remaining Democratic candidates is elected.
In other words, the choice is clear. But that has not stopped media institutions like the New York Times from attempting to distinguish among the numerous white candidates seeking the Democratic nomination by publishing an “endorsement.” The Times, a once-storied newspaper dominated by wealthy white people with ties to Ivy League universities, on Sunday officially endorsed two wealthy white people with ties to Ivy League universities.
Recent Stories in Politics
It goes without saying that members of the media should not make political endorsements. In an ideal world, journalists would be banned from all forms of political activity save, perhaps, nominating a spokesman to relay their concerns to the leadership at the Guantanamo Bay detention facility in Cuba. Alas, notwithstanding the historic presidency of Donald J. Trump, we do not live in an ideal world. Yet.
Political endorsements, as a rule, should only be made by people who matter and should only concern political contests of maximum import. That is why the Washington Free Beacon is endorsing the most attractive candidates for First Lady of the United States in 2020. They are Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump. Also, Tiffany Trump.
Endorsing a candidate for First Lady not named Trump would, in our esteemed estimation, be an exercise in futility. Melania, the incumbent, has demonstrated a commanding grace and sense of style that Americans of all genders can admire. The success of her “Be Best” initiative has shattered the toxic stereotypes perpetuated by her predecessor, Michelle Obama. Being FLOTUS can and should involve more than simply lecturing children about vegetables and planting a garden in your backyard.
Ivanka Trump would also be a fabulous choice to serve in the highest female office in the land. Exceptional breeding has gifted her with phenomenal beauty and a formidable intellect, especially when compared to her lesser male siblings. Ivanka’s choice of husband, Jared Kushner, who fits the (somewhat politically incorrect) mold of the traditional Alpha Male, suggests she has the judgment to one day command the most powerful military on Earth. One day, God willing, Ivanka will prove Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) wrong once and for all by demonstrating that, yes, a woman can become president.
Though this year’s decision to endorse more than one FLOTUS candidate represented a break from Free Beacon tradition, a nagging question remained—”Why not three?”—to which there was no good answer. Tiffany Trump should also be considered for the role of First Lady. She has the youth. She has the pedigree. She has a decent Instagram account.
There will be those dissatisfied that this page is not throwing its weight behind a single candidate, but given the near certainty that Donald Trump will be reelected in 2020, we were bored and didn’t know what else to do.
Mrs. Trump and Mrs. Trump and Miss Trump right now are the female leaders best equipped to stand by Mr. Trump’s side as he continues to make this country great.
May the best woman win.

In a rare moment of transparency, Karlie Kloss is opening up about her marriage to Joshua Kushner.
The topic came up during the 27-year-old supermodel’s Thursday appearance on Watch What Happens Live! after host Andy Cohen expertly mentioned her viral Project Runway moment — you know, the one where a contestant made a joke about her familial relationship to the Kushners and Trumps.
Here’s a quick refresher for those who missed it: Kloss, who served as a judge on the fashion competition, was caught off guard when a young designer named Tyler Neasloney fought back against a critique of a garment he constructed for her. After fellow judge Brandon Maxwell said he couldn’t see the former Victoria’s Secret stunner wearing the dress anywhere, the contestant replied:
“Not even to dinner with the Kushners?”
Oh man, we can still feel the sting in that statement every time we hear it!
After replaying a clip of the exchange, Cohen gave the starlet the floor to speak her peace! She began:
“I was honored to be one of the first memes of the decade. Honestly the real tragedy of this whole thing is no one is talking about how terrible this dress was. That’s why he went home.”
At that point, Ivanka Trump‘s sister-in-law continued to switch gears, referring to herself as an “open book” before sharing how she handles being just a few degrees of separation away from President Donald Trump‘s family:
“I’m sure I’m not the only person in this country who does not necessarily agree with their family on politics. I voted as a Democrat in 2016 and I plan to do the same in 2020.”
The Kode With Klossy founder continued:
“I’m very passionate about different issues, women’s reproductive health and I’m very involved with Planned Parenthood.”
Yes, girl. Remind us of all the ways you’re so different from the First Family!!
Living Life With Joshua
Still, well aware of the public’s perception of her spouse and political choices, the seasoned model explained:
“I met my man in 2012. I was 19 years old. It was 2012, it was a different world. My man and I have been through a lot together. I’m so proud that he’s my partner. It’s not been easy but it’s worth it. I would make that same decision a million times again.”

Reality TV has brought us so many gems over the years, but this may take the cake as being the most awkward EVER!
ICYMI, Karlie Kloss‘ husband is Josh Kushner, younger brother of Ivanka Trump‘s husband Jared Kushner. Basically, she’s a few degrees of separation away from President Donald Trump. Though Kloss’ political views don’t align with her in-laws, the family ties have still stirred up some controversy.
Most recently, on Monday night’s episode of Project Runway a joke about politics made by a contestant fell so flat that he ended up (spoiler alert) getting sent home.
For context, the designers were tasked with designing a look for the supermodel to wear in Paris using clothing donated from a local Goodwill. When Tyler Neasloney explained his top and skirt look, which was “made from four pairs of pants,” he explained he was:
“…going for a very traditional like Montauk, Martha’s Vineyard, Cape Cod, Americana vibe.”
Joining fellow judge Brandon Maxwell, Kloss examined the design up close and asked:
“So you’re happy with your look?”
The competitor replied:
“I’m happy with it. I don’t know if you love it or if you hate it. Whatever it is, lay it on me. I’m ready.”
Sternly, Maxwell gave his feedback on the look:
“Well, bring us back to the challenge. Super cool, A. Wearable, B. Chic, C. You got B. You got wearable. It’s definitely wearable in some place that is neither Paris nor Montauk or Martha’s Vineyard. I cannot see Karlie wearing it anywhere, honestly.”
The contestant retorted with a smile:
“Not even to dinner with the Kushners?”
As fellow contestants can be heard audibly gasping and murmuring, Tyler attempted to bounce back:
“That’s your husband!”
But Miz Kloss was NOT having it. Coldly, she fired back:
“I was going to Paris. That was your challenge here. Keep it to the challenge.”
Still trying to defend himself, Neasloney added:
“I know, I know. I can see you wearing it at some point!”
Still, it wasn’t flying for the 27-year-old:
“You may not know, but I know. I know that this is not what I asked for. The fabrics are poor choices; I think they look cheap. The pockets are kind of ill-placed. And if this is your aesthetic then that’s that, but this was about my aesthetic and the influence of my stylist. You really missed the mark here on all accounts.”
Give the moment a watch (below):

Considering both his design and joke didn’t garner any praise from the judges, it’s no surprise Tyler was sent home at the end of the episode. Upon leaving, he added:
“Karlie, I want you to know that I’m not a jerk. I’m professional, so what I said earlier had no hidden agenda, no meaning, nothing like that.”
Obviously, Twitter users weighed in on the whole mess. Ch-ch-check out a few of the best responses:
