New Report Finds CDC Fumbled the Ball on Coronavirus and Actually Refused to Approve Early Study on Spread of Coronavirus
Democrats and their mainstream media blamed President Trump for months for the spread of the deadly coronavirus in the United States. Congressional Democrats are currently investigating different ways on how they can blame the pandemic deaths on the Trump administration.
But now a new Reuters report accuses the CDC of dropping the ball and refusing to approve an early study on the spread of the coronavirus.
Just wait until they study how many tens of thousands of lives could have been saved if the CDC and Dr. Fauci had not shunned the use of hydroxychloroquine to treat the coronavirus.
Reuters reported:
Lawler told Reuters he immediately asked the world-renowned U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for permission to test the quarantined group, deeming it crucial to know whether people without symptoms were infected and could spread the deadly pathogen.
Agency officials worried that detained people couldn’t give proper consent because they might feel coerced into testing. “CDC does not approve this study,” an official at the quarantine site wrote to Lawler in a Feb. 8 email obtained by Reuters. “Please discontinue all contact with the travelers for research purposes.”
More than two months passed before the CDC expanded its testing guidelines to include all asymptomatic people, saying soon afterward that this silent spread “may meaningfully contribute to the propagation of the COVID-19 pandemic.” By November, the agency estimated that more than half of cases were spread by people not currently experiencing symptoms.
Critics have widely asserted that the CDC fumbled key decisions during the coronavirus scourge because then-President Donald Trump and his administration meddled in the agency’s operations and muzzled internal experts. The matter is now the subject of a congressional inquiry. Yet Reuters has found new evidence that the CDC’s response to the pandemic also was marred by actions – or inaction – by the agency’s career scientists and frontline staff.
At a crucial moment in the pandemic when Americans were quarantined after possible exposure to the virus abroad, the agency declined or resisted potentially valuable opportunities to study whether the disease could be spread by those without symptoms, according to previously undisclosed internal emails, other documents and interviews with key players.

No Dissent Tolerated: Biden White House Channel Disables Comments on All Videos, Scrubs Thousands of Comments
After only three days in office the Biden administration has disabled comments on all thirteen videos posted to the official White House YouTube channel, erasing thousands of comments in the process. The White House channel has been under relentless negative commentary from the American people to the point that downvotes were being manipulated to make the Biden videos appear more popular. While the downvotes still wildly exceed the upvotes, all commenting and live chats are now gone.
A tweet posted Friday night has a screen image showing the same video with nearly 8,000 comments.
Every tweet so far on his page has 70 to 80% negative comments. On the official White House YouTube page every video he has put out has 80% more dislikes than likes. Nobody voted for this guy. Maybe the people at the Capitol may have been right?🤔 pic.twitter.com/509UC2GgTD

Comments were visible Friday afternoon on most videos when reviewed by TGP, however a check Friday night shows that commenting has been turned off on all videos and thousands of comments on videos such as the briefings by Press Secretary Jen Psaki are gone.
Mark Dice presciently commented on the disabling of commentary:
The White House turned off the comments on today’s press briefing on their YouTube channel. Before they did, I had one of the top thumbed-up comments saying “In before they turn off the comments.” Yes, I can predict the future.

Citing Syrian state news agency SANA, i24 News reported that a convoy of about 40 trucks and armored vehicles “entered northeastern Syria” on Thursday supported by helicopters.
And while “other local media” noted that such resupply convoys are not uncommon, SANA’s report added that an additional 200 U.S. troops were choppered into the Hasakeh province as well.
The report claimed that the additional troops will deploy to protect nearby oilfields on land that buttresses Kurdish-controlled territory in eastern Syria that is also said to be rich in energy resources.
The Syrian government called on the immediate withdrawal of US forces in their country.
MSN reported:
“The new U.S. administration must stop acts of aggression and occupation, plundering the wealth of my country, withdraw its occupying forces from it, and stop supporting separatist militias, illegal entities, and attempts to threaten Syria’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity,” Jaafari said.
Syria’s unrest began amid mass protests across the Arab World that erupted a decade ago, devolving into conflict between security forces and rebels. Biden, then serving as vice president under President Barack Obama, backed calls for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to step down at the time, as the U.S. and regional partners offered support for the opposition, accusing the Syrian leader of human rights abuses.
